From today's USA TODAY: Kids get a whopping one-third of their calories from pizza, snacks and desserts, says a new analysis from a landmark study on children's eating habits.

As if it wasn't bad enough "fat-free creamy salad dressing; fat-free mayonnaise; fat-free sour cream" (all of which make me shudder with horror) are on the list of "GO FOODS" to "eat almost anytime," did they just recommend kids drink diet soda anytime?

WTF is wrong with people?! Diet soda? FOR KIDS?!

That's really fucking depressing. Yes, feed your kids some more chemicals because it is so much easier than actually cooking real food.

And if food that was once considered a treat is now a staple, what is going to be considered a treat?

While I hated the fact that my parents didn't buy junk food for me when I was growing up, I'm extremely thankful now!
